Ames Studio: Flavor Art & Science:

How do people learn how to understand the language of flavors?

Role: Creator, Sensory Design, Data Science & App Development

We are increasingly learning how people develop flavor literacy. Most people are not like chefs, sommeliers, brewers, farmers, cheesemongers, and others who spend decades learning to understand, create and communicate taste.

This body of work is about making it easier for everyday people like you and me to become fluent in flavor.

“Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it; boldness has genius, power and magic in it.

Only engage, and then the mind grows heated. Begin it, and the work will be completed.”

- Goethe (in German)
