Communicating Remote Sensory Experience: First Person Perspective
Deconstructing Sensory Experience III
Project focus: How Might We Capture the Sensory Experience of a Place Without Going There?
Funding: Umbria Art residency, Italy
Recognition: Exhibition 2015-2016, Italy
A DAY IN THE LIFE, FILMED is part of a larger project called THREE STORIES OF MONESTEVOLE, in which I focused on deconstructing and reconstructing the hard-to-describe sensory experience of being in a place.
For this piece, I attached cameras to the people who live and work there, and created a film from the footage of an average (and delightful!) day of life on site. You can find the film on the project website: sensorycomposition.com
